Basic SWAT Course

This class will focus on the basic understanding of SWAT operations, including: SWAT history, liability issues, physical fitness/wellness, SWAT equipment/weapons selection, intelligence gathering, rapid deployment/rapid rescue, barricaded persons, hazardous warrants, emotionally disturbed persons, vehicle assaults, less-than-lethal applications, noise-flash diversionary devices, tactical pistol , tactical rifle, CQB, perimeter and entry team roles, communication, mechanical and ballistic breaching, live fire exercises and chemical agents. This class will require physical exertion and many hours of practical exercises at various venue sites.
